Edmond Jabès, Egyptian Jewish writer and poet

Edmond Jabès, Egyptian Jewish writer and poet. Author of the ‘Logomachie Renouvelée du Talmoud’ (the Talmud renewed logomachy) written in Egypt. Exiled to France, he wrote ‘Le Livre des questions’ and won in 1982 the Prize of the ‘Foundation du Judaisme Francais’ and many other important Prizes.
