The entrance floor of ‘Cicurel’

The entrance floor of 'Cicurel', one of many other Department stores in Cairo and Alexandria, owned by Jews. The best fashion, perfumes and garments from Paris for men and women were to be found in those huge and multi-storied department stores. Is not longer owned by a Jew, but still keeps the Cicurel Jewish name. (Cairo 1948).(From the book "The Golden Era of the Jews of Egypt" by Levana Zamir)October 5, 2010Posted on No Comments
